Hollywood Dots aka The Oncelor was born Darryle Stevenson from the state of Delaware, USA on December 19, 1985.
He finds inspiration in many places and have traveled to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Miami which has influenced his creative style and process. Hollywood Dots creates music because It's his form of expression as we are all made through the eyes of the creator.. He specializes in Boom Bap Hip Hop Instrumentals and focuses on the emotion that sounds can genuinely make people feel. The Oncelor also enjoy working with new sounds, other artists of the likes, as well as experimenting outside of his norm of expression.
Bringing a style that is grimey, soulful, hypnotic, exquisite, and luxurious, Dots is motivated by other artists such as Bronze Nazareth, Apollo Brown, Wu-Tang, and Griselda Records. The Delaware native has been creating music for about 20 years, molding his style while growing up vibing to his favorite artist Ghostface Killah, "I find his work to be extraordinarily descriptive" says Dots. He connects with the community by posting his works on social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud just to name a few. His works has also been played at radio stations like KISS 101.7FM, The Beat 103.9fm, and Pandora.
