Honey Magpie is a folk-pop band from Chapel Hill, NC. Their sound is both traditional and modern, blending classical string instruments and three-part harmonies with pop, rock, and indie influences. They released their first studio album, Honey Magpie, in July of 2017. On their second album, set to release in April 2020, the band expands their emotional range, to include dark and sad songs, as well as sweet and funny songs. Honey Magpie also draws from new influences on their second album, including 90’s rock, 60’s pop, and country.
