An explosive and upbeat quartet with a familiar but fresh sound, Honeymoon Bay was formed by Toronto residing brothers Mike and Mack Kundakcioglu after finally realizing their unique writing chemistry. After adding ex-We Will Kill Again members Christian Thompson on guitar and Josh Nelson on drums, the self proclaimed "Post-Easycore" kids entered the Toronto music scene blazing hot with their debut EP Lot 56, inspired by recent heartbreak and hope for the future. Named after a picturesque landscape in British Columbia where the brothers spent most of their summers growing together, the band is heavily influenced by classic pop/punk of the late ninety's and early 2000s, but adds their own special twist with technical breakdowns inspired by modern metalcore. You can expect to hear a unique blend of heartbreaking lyrics and meaningful chord progressions as you immerse yourself into their passionate sound. Hold on to your khakis and snap-backs, because Honeymoon Bay is proving that "Pop-Punk never dies".
