Hoody Athens, born Christopher Luther Andrews, was raised on the East Side of Athens, GA. Battling legal issues, going back & forth to jail since he was 16, that hasn’t stopped him to get where he’s going. Hoody gained traction from his first song "Eviction Notice" when released in December 2019. Chris gets his stage name from the city he was born in. His Southern flair, mix with his distinctive, melodic, raspy voice is a groundbreaking combination for hit making records. Influenced by legends such as T.I., Chief Keef, Lil Wayne, Boosie BadAzz, Speaker Knockerz, Rich Homie Quan, and Young Thug. Hoody began writing rhymes & metaphors in his room at the age of 19, all while trying to shake his past troubles from the street life. His debut mixtape, "Murder She Wrote", arrived October 23rd, 2020, the same day as his father's birthday. The upcoming MC is the epitome of East Coast rap.
