Veterans of the island music scene, Hawaii’s Ho'okena formed in 1986. Featuring members Manu Boyd, Horace K. Dudoit III, Chris Kamaka, and Glen H.K. Smith, the group owns its own record label, <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Ho%E2%80%98omau+Inc.%22">Ho‘omau Inc.</a>, and has won numerous Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards from the Hawai‘i Academy of Recording Arts (HARA). The 2009 effort Nani Mau Loa: Everlasting Beauty earned the group its second Grammy nomination for Best Hawaiian Album. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
