Hookmeister

Hookmeister (aka Viktor Beekman) is a Dutch producer, songwriter and guitarist, based in Hilversum. With a sound rooted in gritty, melodic alt‑rock and pop, he’s built his reputation on crafting bold guitar-driven tracks infused with strong hooks and punchy bass lines .

Before adopting the Hookmeister moniker, Viktor co‑wrote, played guitar, and toured extensively with Yellow Pearl, a Dutch band that achieved notable successes:

• Finalists in the Dutch Song Festival, showcasing their songwriting and stage
presence

• Over 1,000 live shows, including sold‑out sets at Paradiso in Amsterdam and
performances at the Zwarte Cross festival

• A record deal with Sony/BMG, publishing with Universal, and tours supporting
international acts like Thin Lizzy and Mother’s Finest

• Radio hits including “For You and Me” and “See You Again,” the latter landing
them a Top 10 spot and a performance on BBC’s Top of the Pops

Under the Hookmeister name, Viktor has released singles such as Nieuw Begin (featuring Yellow Pearl), We Fall, Rush (Into Love) featuring DAWN, and others, continuing to showcase his flair for emotionally resonant, guitar‑led songwriting.
