Horizonte Lied is a band of electro alternative music that incorporates dark sound textures to create electronic and organic musical fusions.
Founded in June 1992 by Alex Ezert(Production & vocals) and Bernardo Garza(Synths & percs), heavily inspired by bands like Depeche Mode & Clan of Xymox. Horizonte Lied remained 'underground' until 1999 when they started recording their original debut album 'Reciclaje', (which was shelved to be released on a future date).
Around that time the band decides to change its name to Horizonte Lied (formerly called Horizonte Limite); the word LIED is of German origin used since the 18th century and represents one of the most important forms of poetic-musical art of all time (Franz Peter Shubert established the German 'Lied' as a new art form in the 19th century).
In October of 2002, they released their first single: 'Destello Inmortal'; the good rotation that the song received on the internet opened the doors to being invited to be the opening band of the renowned Gothic cult band Clan of Xymox at the end of that same year in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
In March of 2003, they finally released their first album called 'Memorias de Crónicas Futuras'.
Horizonte Lied is currently promoting an ambitious project called "REMASTERS FINALES", which includes several remastered/unreleased tracks from all their body of work since their foundation.
The band is signed to independent label SynthpopYourWorld Records.
