The norwegian producer/songwriter/ DJ / label owner and well known ghostproducer Jesper Horten Kjærnes aka HORT3N is predicted a future among the stars by many. The young artist was born 21th September 2002 in summercity Sandefjord, Norway. While being exposed to the unique Scandinavian summer, he has developed a love for tropical house and summer music. His music is influenced by house music, as well as film scores and video game compositions, which made a big influence on him during childhood.


He has grabbed attention of artists like Alan Walker, as well as an international audience, many genres and millions of streams. Music blogs has written about him, such as EDM All Day. With tropical house as a signature, he is known for a large repertoire of genres. Everything from sad ballads to party songs.

HORT3N is his most recent project, supported by several Spotify editorial playlists such as the Dance Brandneu, Sommerhits 2022, New Music Friday Norway, Tropical House and Tropical Vibes. Falling in love with music at an early age, he started making music on his grandfather's old computer when 12 years old, inspired by idol Kygo, cinematic powerhouse Hans Zimmer as well as artists like Avicii, Jonas Blue, Mike Perry and KSHMR. He has always expressed himself through music. While HORT3N is one project, he has several others.
