Hot Grits started as a fun side project in a downtown Beaumont Texas jam room amongst friends, then things got really serious, really quickly. It was a place in time of quickly trying to transcribe and interpret all of these things pouring out of us anytime we got together. Several years and lineup shuffles later, it’s right. A group from varied parts of Southeast Texas, we bring our love and influences of Funk, Soul, Jazz, Electric Blues, Motown, 60’s and 70’s Psychedelic-Rock into our music. Hot Grits is Latricia Badgett -Vocals/Lyrics, Bryan LaCroix - Guitar, Emmanuel Saldana - Bass, Caleb Fontenot -Keys and Gavin Norwood - Percussion
