Hot Mess Morning Club is a Jakarta–Tangerang Selatan-based band. Formed in 2022 out of mutual burnout and impulse decisions (yes, we know it took us forever to actually release a track), the band consists of four maybe-a-little-too-weird-and-socially-awkward humans: Farhan Muhammad (Guitar), Kamila Azzahra (Guitar), Patricia Cecilia (Bass), and Shira Sampurna (Keys).
One might ask, who is the vocalist? Honestly, everyone is.
Born from disbanded bands, tangled friendships, and shared random gigs, we make dance punk songs for people who overthink at parties. It’s loud. It’s weird. It’s ours. Inspired by post-punk, Y2K pop, 2010s Tumblr angst, and a general distrust of authority, we’re basically the soundtrack to your favorite house party right before it gets shut down.
We’ve got too much drama, but our motto is: “More drama than a sinetron, more songs than we know what to do with.” If we released all our demos, we’d probably have six LPs by now.
