Hou5ton

The modern era of music has given way to enigmas and artists of all shapes and forms who break the norm of what we have come to expect as far as what an artist truly is. Hou5ton is one such artist that epitomises the essence of the modern era. He is a multi-talented vocalist, rapper and producer born in Houston and raised in Missouri City, TX. Hou5ton is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, comfort and spread love and joy to all those that hear it.

Born Houston Averiett II, Hou5ton began producing music in 2012, then transitioned into audio engineering in 2014 in a small in home studio for underground artist. He then attained a degree in communications and with a minor in music at Texas Southern University graduating cum laude. He also attended Grammy camp LA in 2013 as an audio engineer.

Formerly known as Houston A, Hou5ton has 2 Eps in his repertoire namely, “Tall Tales” (2018) and “Story Time” (2019) and released his new single “Texas” under his new moniker of Hou5ton that will showcase his lyricism in a uniquely constructed piece of musical artistry. He has an upcoming project titled “Therapy” that is an emotive body of work that will tell a relatable story of heartbreak as well as the sharing of the emotions that come with it. Hou5ton would like for this single and album to be a form of therapy for both men and women.
