At home in both denim and leather, punishing Philly-based hard rock trio Hound have a knack for pairing greasy stoner rock with NWOBHM-inspired proto-metal. Hound's bluesy swagger, relentless riffage, and raw power invoke <a href="spotify:artist:0c3RL3vVEgfxD6VBv7CGak">Groundhogs</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1DFr97A9HnbV3SKTJFu62M">Motörhead</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:5M52tdBnJaKSvOpJGz8mfZ">Black Sabbath</a>. Founded in 2013 by frontman, guitarist, and visual artist Perry Shall, the band has utilized a rotating cast of players over the years, including bass players Mike Klein and Pat Hickey and drummers Chris Wilson (<a href="spotify:artist:5hbH3dvtk49g07qpc1QwPe">Ted Leo & the Pharmacists</a>) and Brendan Graham.
