Hovercar

Alt-rock trio Hovercar blends the influence of early 90’s aesthetic and sound to create a refreshingly honest version of sun-bleached Florida grunge that is truly all their own. Emotionally evocative lyrics, nuanced dynamics and driving tones make their music as graceful as it is equal parts aggressive. Their most recent album Killing Jar was released July 14, 2023 and is a seven-song statement. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by local engineer, Ryan Boesch, of Candor Recording; every song on Killing Jar calls out to each other like signals through space and lace perfectly together as one complete feeling.

Shortly after the recording sessions for their latest album, they received the opportunity to open a sold-out show for the band Grouplove for local radio station 97x 's UnderPlay! and also headlined a show for GRRRL's Night Tampa.

After heavily performing throughout the local Tampa Bay Scene, the band spent the later part of 2024 building their home studio space where they are currently writing and recording for releases set for the spring of 2025.
