Huck Fin

Hey there! I’m Huck Fin, sorry this isn't in third person! I write and play DIY acoustic(ish) punk in the Portland area. In the words of Pat the Bunny, “Maybe you don’t choose punk rock, because punk rock chooses you.” basically, I don’t do this on purpose or because i want to. My music is honest, raw, and self reflective, and what it lacks in skill I try to compensate for with heart. In fall of 2017 I released ‘Rehabilitation’, a 4 song EP that chronologically recounts how I became whatever I was when it was released. May 31st, 2019 I released a single "Mornings on Fire" from my upcoming full length album, single and album with improved recording quality, production, and instrumentation. In the album I try to step back from myself and speak on some things larger than that, whilst maintaining the personal nature of my songs. It has heavy instrumentation and creative help from my friend and brother Hayden Witt a.k.a. Spicy Bones (who played the same role as well as producer for ‘Rehabilitation’). All the tunes post 'Rehabilitation' are produced by the wonder himself Andy Green, and most tracks have Jesse Moffat smashing drums and slapping bass.
