Knowing God serves as both catalyst and medium in Hulvey’s personal and creative growth. The 26-year-old Brunswick, GA native’s music reflects his current peace of mind, with themes of thankfulness, maturity, and comfort. Since signing with Reach Records five years ago, he’s released his acclaimed debut album Christopher and toured nationally, entering a season of transformation and success. His reverence for God stems from his upbringing steeped in church life. Saved at age four, he began pursuing a deeper understanding of his Creator, surrounding himself with like-minded people, including a gentleman named Doug, whose mentorship helped spark a connection to John 17:3: “This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” After dropping out of college, Hulvey released five EPs, numerous singles, and his debut album, which debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Top Christian/Gospel Albums and #19 on Top Rap Albums. 2023 brought major success with “Used By You,” “Love Like That,” “Fly Away,” and “Altar,” the latter remixed by Ciara and certified Gold with 150.9M streams since release of his second album, "CRY". In 2025, Hulvey expanded his catalog with “BRING HEAVEN DOWN,” “RAIN ON ME,” “JESUS IS LORD,” before joining Brandon Lake’s King Of Hearts LP and the Summer Worship Nights Tour with Phil Wickham. His faith-driven artistry continues to push the reach of rap, inspiring others to know God through nuance, effort, and intentionality.
