Natalia Rogovin, the creative force behind Human Touch, has a musical journey as eclectic as her sound. Raised in the vibrant Bay Area and nurtured in a commune in the Pacific Northwest, her musical path diverged from classical piano to self-taught guitar and electronic experimentation. Studying Film & Electronic Music at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she formed her first band, Rion Rinker, before founding the indie rock sensation Social Studies in San Francisco.
However, it was in the wilds of northern California that Rogovin truly found her voice, surrounded by keyboards, a guitar, and a drum set, birthing Human Touch. She released her debut album "Promise Not To Fall.” in 2018. The hit title track was heavily featured in Netflix's "13 Reasons Why," earning soundtrack placement alongside Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez and Tears For Fears. Her 80’s inspired dream pop with moody synths and haunting vocals has since been featured on major streaming platforms and TV including HBO, Hulu, Netflix and NBC. Rogovin’s sophomore album, Dark Energy spotlights an evolved and more intimate exploration still doused in the cinematic shimmer of nostalgia and dream pop, but now with more range and influence, more modern soundscapes but still a timeless, enveloping songwriting. Rogovin’s sultry voice compels and hypnotizes - at times hauntingly drenched and chorded, and then stunningly naked. Rogovin continues to craft evocative and intimate music in the forest of Mount Hood.
