Humble Brains

Humble Brains (born Tokuibiye Humble TamunoBelema) is a Nigerian Afro-Folk/Soul Singer-Songwriter known for his rich storytelling and soul-stirring melodies. Blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary soul, his music explores themes of love, faith, struggle, and cultural heritage.
Raised in Bolo Town, Rivers State, South-South Nigeria, Humble Brains began performing in Churches and local events in 2003 and gained national attention after winning the NYSC Idol in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria in 2017. His 2024 debut EP, The Dialogues I Kept, introduced his heartfelt sound to a wider audience.
In 2025, he released Nimé, a powerful Ijaw folklore single (with an acoustic version in June), followed by his latest EP, Old Roads, New Songs in September — a soulful reflection on hope, roots, love, hurt and renewal.
