Formed in Eugene, Oregon at the beginning of 2019 by Aidan Hinckle, Jess Holmes, Payden Sternkopf, and <a href="spotify:artist:1QYaqj1EYkMxJ4tp7SpY44" data-name="Josef Windheim">Josef Windheim</a>, Humming Frog began playing melodic and dense, psychedelic-tinged rock. In January 2020, the band self-released their first single Just Because (produced by Ben Windheim of <a href="spotify:artist:0KgAXT7iccIXQWgjb9RWHU" data-name="The Macks">The Macks</a>) in preparation for their first self-titled EP.
