Huncho Dee

Adedayo James Arigbede, professionally know as Huncho Dee, was born on April 18, 2004 in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Chicago by his black mom and his Nigerian dad. He later moved down south to West Memphis, Arkansas in 2008. By the time he was in 4th grade, Huncho began listening to music from Chicago native Kanye West . In 7th grade, Huncho began writing poetry. He began writing songs later. He then recorded his first song on a tablet his father bought him for Christmas. He recorded at least one song a day until he decided to take a break from music. In his ninth grade year, Huncho started to do music again by recording his songs on his iPhone 8, using the app GarageBand. He decided to do his first song with his best friend and fellow artists RemiK. The two recorded “No Chorus” which gained major attention, getting 1,000 plays on Soundcloud. Later on in his 10th grade year, Huncho began to be influenced by local talent from rappers such as Blocboy JB and NLE Choppa, which is a major influence in his music today. With over 30,000 streams throughout every music platform, this is only the beginning for Huncho Dee.
