HUNGER is a heavy/speed metal band born in Spain in 2022, fueled by raw riffs, haunted vibes, and a no-bullshit love for the underground spirit of the ’80s. Founded by guitarist Jara Solís, the band dives headfirst into the darker corners of traditional metal — a nasty blend of speed, steel, and spectral chaos.
Rooted in the NWOTHM movement but never afraid to get dirty, HUNGER brings horror-soaked lyrics, high-energy guitar duels, and razor-sharp vocals that cut like a chainsaw.
The current lineup features Dizzy D. on vocals, Rudolf V. teaming up with Jara Solís on twin guitars and Vick Rodríguez on bass.
Signed to Sweden’s Jawbreaker Records, HUNGER keeps it fast, loud, and possessed — the way heavy metal was meant to be.
