Hunneyball is a dynamic and soulful South African artist whose sound blends Afro-pop with the modern pulse of electronic music.
Her approach to artistry is deeply intentional. As an Abbey Road Institute Graduate, she has had the privilege of meeting and working with some of South Africa's top sound engineers and artists and has a deep appreciation for those in the industry who helped her along her journey.
She also advocates for mental health and women in the creative industry inspired by her own experience with mental illness. Her music often reflects insights or emotions she has experienced along the journey of mental health recovery.
Most of her initial releases were either created whilst studying at Abbey Road, or in her coastal home town with good friend and fellow producer, Djdeon0.
Hunneyball’s music is a celebration of life, an invitation to dance, and a call to embrace the beauty in vulnerability. She hopes to create a space for listeners to connect not just with the music, but with themselves.
