Hunter Baskett is an Oklahoma Red Dirt artist. Born and raised in Mustang, Oklahoma, Hunter discovered his music later in life at the age of twenty-two during his senior year of college. Drawing inspiration from his father's record collection of the outlaw country music movement of the 60's & 70's, Hunter began learning to play the guitar. Not long after, he began doing small acoustic shows all over the Sooner State. In the early years of his career, he befriended Josh Meloy and began playing acoustic shows and song swaps anywhere that would let them in the door. Since then, Hunter has been playing bass and harmonica for Josh all across the United States. Whether playing bass, guitar, writing, or singing songs, Hunter's passion for the Red Dirt music scene is unmatched.
