HU$AM is a Sudanese-American Hip-hop Artist. Before he paved his way into the industry, he would often rap battle against his peers.
But it wasn't until 2018 that he would rap infront of a group of over 100 people. This was during events of marches for the independence of his country, against a tyrant known as Omar Bashir. His message to the youth is that anyone can overcome any hardship with determination and dedication.

Raised in Lansing, Michigan, HU$AM would often get into school fights and find himself alone in the world. He started writing down his thoughts on the pain he felt and the unfortunate deaths of his people as a therapeutic coping method. At age 15, he started saving up for studio money working minimum wage in different jobs. He began releasing his first couple of tracks on YouTube while still being unsigned and without any management.

HU$AM grew up listening to a variety of artist such as 2PAC, Eminem, Lil wayne, H.E.R and Rihanna. Starting off his approach with a drill style then, later on, switching to a melodic and R&B flow, he makes sure to be very versatile in his art and keeps you coming back for more. HU$AM became known for his infectous hooks and lyrical verses, putting both passion and meaning into his songs.
