Huub Hangop, zanger-entertainer, geboren en getogen in West-Brabant, thans wonende in het eveneens in West-Brabant liggende, pittoreske Etten-Leur, waar hij ooit zijn carrière startte op een talentenjacht tijdens de Algemene Middenstands Industrie- en Landbouwtentoonstelling (Amilto), trekt langs kroegen, zalen en tenten met zijn aanstekelijke feestliedjes in een super vrolijke show met uiteraard maar één doel: de zaal op z’n kant! Je kent hem van z’n vele hits, zoals Ik wil ook zo’n broek met van die zakken aan de zijkant, Het Vrachtwagenchauffeurslied, Pistolen Bob, Waar is m’n tosti-apparaat, Padellen, enz. Een optreden zonder toegift heeft onze charismatische Huub in de afgelopen 44 jaar nog nooit meegemaakt! Nou … nooit is misschien overdreven.
