Hydranaut

Forming in late 2021, HYDRANAUT consists of Nik Davies on Vocals and Guitar (8 foot Sativa) Be-Rad on Drums, DD on the Bass (Pod People/Lucifungus) as well as Damian Blankley on Guitar (Smeg / Using Three Words). They set a furious pace writing their first set of songs and self-recording 4 of them for their first ep entitled “This is HYDRANAUT” which was released in early 2022. The music reminds their fans of a time when listening to music and going to gigs was fun and that’s the kind of vibe they like to bring to their high energy live shows. The release has had a very favorable response, showing up on the radar of several music podcasts and web pages both locally and internationally. They have recently released their self titled debut full length album, having recorded it themselves and enlisting the services of Jason Fuller from Goatsound Studios in Melbourne to mix and master it. His previous list of clients include artists such as Nick Oliveri, King Parrot & Witchskull to name few. Now available worldwide, it represents a busy 12 months of the band’s history.
