Hydrodynamiks

Shaped by the tumultuous aughts and 2010s that saw a changing of the guard in hip-hop and the rise of the SoundCloud rap genre, Hydrodynamiks sought to make a lane for themselves that bridged the gap between the more intricate lyrical styles of classic hip-hop and the moody, murky instrumentals of the moment. After meeting in high school, rappers Yung Fiji and Yung Arrowhead embarked on their life’s journey, to bring the drip back to Earth. Supported by producer Matt “JurisDiction” Juris and a rotating cast of characters, the group debuted with their album “The Great Flood” in 2018, and they have been developing their sound ever since.

Hydro's newest project, Wine to Water is already quenching the thirsts of the Hydrophiles around the globe. They are planning to drop a few singles in early 2025, which will be featured on their upcoming summer album, "Another Wet Summer".
