Music Executive. Artist. Producer. Songwriter. Engineer. Filmmaker. Innovator. Visionary.
From Pomona, California, Hydrolic West is a multidisciplinary force who turns pain into propulsion and sound into strategy, merging music, justice, tech, and education.
A self-educated strategist with university acceptances in astronomy, engineering, and data science, he studied at both campuses of The Evergreen State College. His focus included Legislative Studies, Environmental Justice, Organic Agriculture, Media, Public Health, Business Management, Nonprofit Administration, Research and Decolonizing Methodologies, and advanced Civics Math. He also interned in the Prison Reentry Department and Marketing & Communications, building skill, vision, and discipline, with IQ and EQ excellence.
Joining the Black Prisoners Caucus Community Group, he came in green, but through colleagues’ respect and executive leadership, he was elected as Communications Director. The role was earned through a rare skill set, and it didn’t come easy. There, he helped others gain freedom, led reentry work, and learned what “accountability” truly means.
His instrumentals have transformed incarceration globally, using healing frequencies and sound design to reshape how time is served and purpose reclaimed.
From food banks to film sets, Hydrolic West builds liberation infrastructure rooted in sovereignty, strategy, and divine purpose. At Evergreen, he learned to “finish strong” as a scholar.
