Hyghed

Twenty-Nine year-old Philadelphia native Hyghed has been rapping since childhood but began making music when he arrived to Saint John's University in the Fall of 2009. From love letters to smooth lyrics, he's always wanted his writing to have a very personal touch. An eclectic at an early age, Hyghed grew up admiring all genres of music. From cleaning his mother's house to legendary artists like Billie Holiday, Phyllis Hyman and Whitney Houston; to riding around North Philadelphia with his father blasting Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. In the Summer of 2015, within one month he released the self titled EP "I'm Hyghed" followed by "The Hygh Road". In December of 2015 he and young super producer Dertesounds dropped an innovative project crafted specifically for college kids called "Hyghworld". He recently released his magnum opus; entitled "The Real Mūli" which is said to be his best body of work yet. Hyghed is currently finishing up two different sequels. "Hyghworld the Sequel" & "The Real Mū 2". At this time release dates have not been set. Stay tuned as Hyghed begins to cross genres while revolutionizing his sound & versatility.
