These dudes started playing some crap they wrote in 2012, then they got better at doing that repetitively. They named the band Hyperbor, but changed it to Hypermortal around 2018 because it sounds cool and the name "Hyperbor" confused their friends and family. As they continued to make music, they got better at not sucking, and in that span of time they have released five home recordings, a music video shot on 35mm at Panavision in Hollywood, and a fancy-smancy studio recording. If you dig psychedelic/progressive hipster non-metallic metal music with post-punk elements played through vintage amps, these dudes are your huckleberry, Jerry.
Travis Baker usually plays drums, gongs, bongos, and other percussive stuff, then he is forced to lug his heavy equipment around everywhere because he's in a bunch of other bands as well. He has a giant china cymbal that everyone talks about.
Daniel Glascock plays bass like a guitar, sings, crams as many synthesizers as he can into a song whether or not it's called for, then records the worst takes of everyone's respective parts to make an embarrassing audible representation of what the band is.
Sam Piper plays a fancy custom EGC guitar through lots of pedals and lifts weights so other bands can't beat us up.
