Pursuing my passion in music was a given for me — but being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease when I was 24 wasn’t something I ever saw coming. In the years since my diagnosis my biggest obstacle in life has turned into the biggest source of motivation and inspiration I have. Having something with that kind of weight behind it definitely gives you perspective and focus. The realization you need to utilize the time you have to make an impact and to leave your mark on the world is a sobering one. It will take my body eventually but will never take my passion for creating and performing music!
