Discovered at the 36th Rencontres Trans Musicales in Rennes, I Me Mine have continued to cultivate their savoir-faire with brilliant EPs and albums in an indie rock heritage akin to Foals, Balthazar or Arcade Fire. While their first album confirmed their power on stage, their second opus Ellipsis was unanimously acclaimed in the indie scene and far beyond when it was released in 2018. With catchy rhythms and pop sounds, sixties influences jostled with more electro and pop-rock harmonies, the trio unveils a rare boldness and talent, with Rolling Stone magazine describing them as "one of the most promising French bands". This new crown will see them scour the French, European and even Chinese stages, reaching over 2.5 million streams with their single Expectations featuring General Elektriks. At the heart of I Me Mine are two voices, Fred and Sam, two songwriters who answer each other, who confront and complement each other, with Guillaume, the drummer with his inimitable style and instinctive playing always at the service of the songs. 2024 finally sees the return of the French-New-Zealand trio with a fascinating new album entitled Tsu Na Mi.
