The band's sound contains elements from post rock & shoegaze as well as progressive metal and Melodic hardcore
The band pulls influence from band's such as Invent Animate, Counterparts, Humanity's Last Breath and Being as an Ocean, to name a few.

The band's massive sound is a force to be reckoned with live as their melody and ambience pulls the listener in while their pulse-pounding rhythms and breakdowns demand high energy from the crowd.

I Sank Atlantis's goal is to bring forth a message of hope and empower the listener, with lyrics touching on mental health, equality, survival and healing from abuse and many more subjects that the band holds close to their hearts.

The main point I Sank Atlantis would like their listeners to engrave in their memory is that it's okay to feel emotion, as we're all human and no possession any of us will ever contain will change that.
