I Soar I

Conceived sometime in 2014, I Soar I is a Manila-based experimental/alternative metal band gearing towards a unique fusion of industrial, ambient, and psychedelic soundscape. It has since moved on from its bedroom project phase and has evolved into a full-fledged band now comprised of former/current members of Scarlet Tears, Anhura, Apostate, Candyaudioline, Matilda, and Decay Transit.
I Soar I has since released its self-titled Promotional Demo in 2016 followed by ‘Lifting the Veil of Corporate Fiction’ full-length album in 2020. A three-track digital release entitled ‘Ad Interim’, and in collaboration with Manila’s darkwave act Names are for Tombstones was released in 2022. Throughout the years, I Soar I has likewise paid homage to a diverse set of artists including Dead Can Dance, Depeche Mode, and Philippine punk legend Dead Ends.
I Soar I is currently in the process of recording its second full-length album under the guidance of Mr. Alexander Ecker of Pearlsound Studio in Germany.
