Ialanmarshall

Isaiah Marshall, known as ialanmarshall, is a guitarist, vocalist, audio engineer, and producer from the Washington D.C. metro area. Picking up the guitar at age 7, Isaiah's passion for music quickly expanded into multiple genres, including Punk, Jazz, and Metal. By 14, he was performing with bands, recording local artists, and providing live sound for DMV venues. During high school, Isaiah recorded and mixed music with his band Upforth and helped launch Bethesda Youth Shows to support young artists in the Bethesda, Chevy Chase community.

A graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, Isaiah trained in live sound, studio recording, audio mastering, and sound design, gaining invaluable experience through internships with Grammy-winning engineers. Now a freelance sound engineer, Isaiah continues to produce and engineer music through his studio, Empowered Recordings, working with diverse artists and groups throughout the DMV. With his music, Isaiah shares his experience and creativity, inspiring local artists and pushing the boundaries of sound.
