Julian “DA GOAT” Pope is a Camden, New Jersey based recording artist whose upbringing in the urban city helped evolve his music artistry. Rapping came to him naturally at age 23. He has a unique style with a distinctive flow that separate him from the usual East Coast style of rap. He produces varieties of work ranging from tracks for the ladies to anthems for the streets. Raised in a single parent household, DA GOAT is the oldest of 3 children in that same home. His mother instilled principles and morals in him that he still values today. She would always listen to oldies and classic hip-hop, which led DA GOAT to fall in love with music at an early age. He was drawn to artist like Jodeci, Tupac, Wu-Tang Clan, 50 Cent and New Edition, which is reflective of his music today.
He spends endless nights in the studio while juggling being a father. In 2018, he took a step back from Music, and ended up back in the streets.
