IamMusiq is a writer, producer & recording artist born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico who spent most of his early life growing up along the Mexican-American border between Chicali & Brawley, CA. Representing the Imperial Valley he incorporates classical Mexican influences like banda, regional, mariachi & corridos along with a unique California border cultural perspective into a bilingual blend of sample-driven alternative hip-hop, indie punk & industrial rock.


Musiq released a string of singles from March 2018 to February 2020 prior to recording and releasing his debut mixtape MIGHT DIE TONIGHT in Imperial, CA and executive produced by Jonny Keyz. In 2022, MIGHT LIVE FOREVER was released as a sequel to his previous mixtape. This project was recorded at The Salt Rock Studio in Nashville, TN and was executive produced by Drive Thru Alumni & Stylo Ghost and featured over twenty musicians from across genres.
