Ian Holmes. Latin Grammy nominated singer/songwriter touring worldwide with
Sony Music's Latin Grammy winning Camila, whose DVD (4Latidos) with Sin Bandera features him in
several amazing singing cameos. He's sung background vocals and written for Grammy Winner Taboo (The Black Eyed Peas), Latin Grammy Winner Paulina Aguirre (Kenny O’Brien), and toured with Maria Del Rey (Coca-Cola).
2005, the year of American Idol Season 4, Ian Holmes sang his way through to the top 44 semi-finals building him a platform where he would sing and inspire a multitude of hearts, to reach for their dreams and conquer their fears.
Born into a family bonded by singing, he started at age 15 pursuing a professional music career. First
with The Holmes Family, who have opened for Rene Gonzlaez, Ms. Dionne Warwick, The Blind Boys of Alabama and more. Ian is a featured artists on the groundbreaking “EarthTones” and The Lord’s Prayer Project,
produced by multi-Grammy and Emmy winner Loris Holland (Tommy Matola) and Jimmy ‘D’
Miller, featuring Sheila E., Howard Hewitt, James Ingram, Ann Nesby, and more peaking at #20 on Billboard’s Gospel chart. He has worked with world-renowned LP percussionist Candido Camero, Gospel recording artists Mel Holder, Calvin Nowell; modern Praise & Worship pioneers Freddy Rodriguez, Nicole Binion and Floyd Ellsworth.
