SEATTLE, Washington — “Ian is a rare Washington state artist and author whose songs and sound will always hold up,” says producer Jesse Siebenberg (Supertramp, Lucas Nelson and Promise of the Real). “That’s the kind of music I put on at home. Spawning what will come to be known as “Northwest Americana”, Ian Jones’ current EP Evergreens, released in October 2021, is a seamless collection that previews his forthcoming album Results Not Typical, set for release in March of 2023. He writes poetic personal narratives with an artist’s flair that combine a classic roots country flavor with a west coast style. Think Jackson Browne and Jim Messina, meets John Prine and James Taylor.

Ian’s newest full-length album, Results Not Typical due out in the spring of 2023, showcases colorful narratives with crystal clarity. As with the Evergreens EP, the musician continues his journey and gift for relatable, melodic songcraft.
