IAN is one of the most influential and acclaimed talents amongst the urban scene in Romania, having achieved the title of the most enthused about rap phenomenon that the industry has seen, with a remarkable sequence of #1 hits.

His first appearance into the spotlight in 2017 had stirred plenty of controversy, as the artist had created a new musical wave that one year later, in 2018, would grow into being the most praised and appreciated genre in Romania. The same year, he debuted as part of a rap duo, topping the charts with hit singles such as “Bag un blunt” and “Nefiu”, and collaborating with high-profile international artists such as R3hab and Smokepurpp.

IAN’s career flourished into an even bigger sensation with the release of his first ever album - Slayer (2019), which became a blueprint for the urban culture. Leaving behind the duo project in 2021, the artist focused on his second album - Voodoo (2022) - marked as the most awaited and notable musical project of the decade. The two albums promptly gained together a striking number of over 100 Million digital streams, while also charting as #1 over all the markets. His name has also conquered the unrivaled #1 position in the Spotify official artists chart for more than 5 consecutive months.

With a continuously expanding community, he is the headliner to many notable festivals and shows such as Untold, Neversea, Summer Well, Hustle and Beach, Please!, where he brought together several tens of thousands supporters.
