IANAI

IANAI's evocative ritual music combines traditional music and historic instrumentation from all the cultural roots of the World and touches upon themes of the past, present and the future.

IANAI is led by Jaani Peuhu from Finland, a renowned producer and composer, song writer and falsetto vocalist. The music ensemble on IANAI recordings and live productions perform in their own mystical language that crosses all borders, cultures and time, in order to transmit deep emotions to the listener. With this concept IANAI is creating a unique World Tapestry of Universal Sound and flirts with the rise of similar ritual music groups that gathered a worldwide interest.

IANAI's debut album 'SUNIR' was released on June 10th 2022 through Svart Records, and gave a highly praised debut and strong foundation of bringing worldly and otherworldly influences together through their music. 'SUNIR' featured special contributions from highly acclaimed bands and artists such as Massive Attack, HIM, and Sisters of Mercy.
The second album ' KODEXA' is currently in production and veiled in mystery.
IANAI producer Jaani Peuhu teams up with an array of new talented guest artists once again (TBA).

IANAI is produced in studios throughout the world and implements traditional instrumentalists from various cultures and guest vocalists to facilitate a broadly celebrated world music project.
