With an eccentric delivery and wide array of flows, rapper ICECOLDBISHOP kicked off his musical career with a string of unconventional anthems. The South Central L.A. native established himself with tracks such as "Porch" and the appropriately titled "IRATE" before he inked a deal with Epic Records. He made his major-label debut in 2022 with the pointed single "THE GOV'T GAVE US GUNS."
Despite having rapped for fun since the age of eight, it was not until adulthood that ICECOLDBISHOP, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, put his verses on record. His gloomy debut single, "Porch," arrived online in October 2017, delivering haunting street narratives over a murky piano melody. Following a six-month battle with homelessness, he continued his career into 2018 and 2019, releasing the versatile singles "Katana" and "Creep" and landing on the COLORS video platform with his third single, "IRATE." After moving into 2020 with the Bregma-produced "BITCH PLEASE" and "PUSH TO START," the rising rapper collaborated with producer Kenny Beats for "DICKIES SUIT." ICECOLDBISHOP's 2021 performance at the Roxy Theatre in nearby West Hollywood attracted a deal with Epic, which first partnered with the MC to release "THE GOV'T GAVE US GUNS," a collaboration with producer Kal Banx, in December 2022. ~ David Crone, Rovi
