Ida Alex released her debut EP Free Woman in May 2022 and has been making a significant impact on the Finnish music industry through her involvement with a new female collective BÄMÄ. The collective recently achieved the distinction of winning the Genre-Free Act of the Year award at the Music Publishers Gala in Finland and spent the summer performing at the biggest festivals In Finland.
