Ida Bang & The Blue Tears is one of Sweden’s leading bands in the americana scene, performing music that’s probably easiest described as bluesy soul/rock or modern retro. The latest album “Good To Me” received an incredible review in Swedish daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter and led to an extended tour as they got invited to support the American band Lake Street Dive in Europe.
Born in the 80’s and 90’s, they all found a love for the blues at an early age. That same love was the reason they first met and formed the band that would become Ida Bang & The Blue Tears in 2013, and very soon they were touring all over Europe building a reputation of being a great live act.
Ida Bang & The Blue Tears consists of Ida Bang (vocals), John Bernström (guitar), Leo Henriksson (guitar), Patrik Engström (bass), Leo Sund (drums) and Jonas Westberg (keyboard).
