Idle Youth are an Electro pop 4 piece from Camden, London; incorporating synthesisers, huge bass hooks, 80’s drum sounds and deep and resonant vocal delivery. Featuring Jon on vocals and synths, Kieran on bass, Mick on guitar and Steve on drums, post punk and new wave are the biggest influences on the music. However, a visual influence crucially plays a heavy part in both the aesthetic and overall sound of the band. Using minimalism, luminism, and Japanese cyberpunk, the band create an unforgettable and unique live show - blending neon soaked visuals with larger than life musical delivery that can’t help but be prodigious.
