It all started when he touched many sensational music at 285 KENT when he lived in New York. He had close relationship with members of GothBoiClique. In 2019, he played with Lil Tracy at the show in Brooklyn. After he came back in Japan, he started to make music. His style is mixing literary lyric with Alternative Hip Hop, Emo Rap and Hyperpop. Ido Kyo will have many collaborations with various artists in the future releases.
ニューヨークに住んでいた際に通い詰めたライブハウス285 KENTでの体験が様々な音楽に触れるきっかけとなる。その後、ニューヨーク・ブルックリンにて、Lil Peep周辺と親しくなり、2019年にLil Tracyのライブで共演も果たした。
帰国後、Ido Kyoとしての制作を開始。オルタナティヴ・ヒップホップ/エモラップ/ハイパーポップなど基調につつもジャンルに縛られない斬新な音楽性と文学的なリリックの融合が特徴となっている。
今後も様々なアーティストとの連名作品のリリースや客演参加などを控えている。
