Ifa Fachir is an Indonesian composer/songwriter/producer, who started out his music career as one of the original members of MALIQ & d’Essentials.
He has produced for and/or collaborated with artists such as Raisa, Bunga Citra Lestari, Glenn Fredly, Fiersa Besari, Maudy Ayunda, Andien, Rizky Febian, Reza Rahadian, Andmesh, Erwin Gutawa, Dian HP, Purwa Caraka, and many more. He has also crossed over to collaborate with artists from neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
From 2019, he entered the film industry by composing for films such as Keluarga Cemara and Imperfect: Karier, Cinta & Timbangan.
To date, his work has been awarded with 4 AMI Awards (Indonesian Music Awards), 2 Maya Awards & 1 Bandung Film Festival Award. He also hold 2 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) nominations.
Having started his music education in New York, USA, Ifa’s compositions has been highly influenced by Broadway musicals. Thus, Ifa is also a proud composer of original Indonesian musicals, and will always be close to his musical theater roots. His latest musical, stage version of Keluarga Cemara, was awarded Best Musical Album at AMI Awards 2024.
