Igama is the solo-project of SLC-based, American producer Adonis Jordan,started in 2015. Igama utilizes a mixture of live analog keyboard recording, various guitars, voice, and field recordings to create his unique engendered strain of electronic music. Igama's music both pays homage , and yet, is distinctly untethered to the realms of classical, jazz, krautrock, ambient, and synthpop.
His broad source of inspiration has allowed Jordan the bandwidth to appeal to many people of all ages over since 2015. His debut album, Angular Bliss was released in 2016, followed by 2019’s Castle EP.
In 2017 his downtempo remix was included on the vinyl pressing of CloZee’s Revolution EP, as well as, the Revolution Remixes album via Gravitas recordings.
