Formed in December 2024 for a fun indie jam session, Ikat Tepi became an Alternative Rock band after performing their first gig in January 2025. Despite having six brains with different music preferences, they found a common genre to nod heads together: 2000s Emo. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Evanescence, Amira Elfeky, Sound of Modesty and Knucklebones, they write music not just to be heard, but to be felt. Carrying a dark yet dreamy sound, Ikat Tepi creates an atmosphere rich with emotion, where every flow of music becomes a reflection of feelings. Instagram: @ikatepi.wav
