The artist Ilang comes from the northernmost part of Greenland, born of a Greenlandic drummer - opera singer - and son of a Danish dog sled/sailor - priest and performer. Ilang is wrapped up with an old motown sound of Earth Wind and Fire, James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. The Greenlandic name Ilang, meaning "a good travel partner", makes his music lend well back in to the seat, cruising through landscapes in a true road-movie style.
