Ileana and Gyle is an independent acoustic duo from Luzon, Philippines. They started out separately as singer-songwriters until music drew them together in 2016, when they met in college. Ileana enjoys listening to folk and jazz pop, while Gyle enjoys alternative rock. Coming from different backgrounds, they decided as a duo not to conform to any genre and just play as they discover their own sound. Their songs speak of the struggles and joys of loving and living, with messages that wrap you in a warm embrace or nudge you to reflect on daydreams and realities. With two times the passion to explore and create in the world of music, Ileana and Gyle hopes to share life’s stories, one song at a time.
